An Important Blog for Everyone
This blog is important because it addresses the issue of growth, which is vital to life. According to science, every living cell must continue to regenerate in order for life to continue. Well, the question is, how does that happen? Well, we don't see it with the naked eye; however, cells in our bodies constantly regenerate and multiply so that organs and other vital tissues can remain alive. The same applies to humans. We need to grow. Although we stop growing physically at a certain age, our cells continue to work behind the scenes so we can remain alive.
Where am I going with this?
Well, since this blog website is about transformation, I am referring to emotional and psychological health. If we remain the same emotionally, we will grow stagnant. Think of it this way. How would you feel if you saw a 30-year-old person throwing a tantrum like a 2-year-old? It would not be pretty. In fact, you probably have come across a few 30-year-olds behaving like that. When that happens, we usually call them immature. Why do you do that? We call people immature when they don’t act for their age because the expectation is that we become more emotionally and psychologically mature as we grow.
So why would a person not be emotionally or psychologically mature?
The answer is that sometimes they never went through the necessary process to address their life issues, so they carry these burdens, making it difficult to evolve. In life, we all go through circumstances. However, in each circumstance, we are supposed to address it, not pretend it never existed. Some circumstances are harrowing; yet we must still go through a process to overcome them. When you do that, you can now mature and not let that situation retard your growth.
We must all grow through.
I intentionally wrote grow through because I can go through something and yet never grow. In fact, I can go through it because it is beyond my control, yet I remain unfazed, as if it never happened. So, what should you do? Well, first acknowledge the situation, then make a note of it. In addition, ask yourself what you can do and what you have learned. When I face my issue head-on, I have a better chance of maturing and becoming a better person than when I first encountered it.
We have so much to learn in this life
Regardless of the difficulties, we have the potential to become mature emotionally and physically, and to become a source of power for the next person who might need our experience to guide them. Don’t waste your experience. Every difficulty that you face, you can grow. You can rise above. Here is your chance now to mature and be better than you were last year or the year before. This world needs you. You are an asset. You are a great author and coach, and because of your wisdom, that other person is becoming her best self.
